Method 1

  3. Extract the archive file [RAR or ZIP] using 7-Zip,
  4. That's it! You won't get the unknown format or damaged error further.

Method 2

  1. Open the RAR archive file with WinRAR
  2. Repair the file(s) or folder(s) of the archive file,
  3. Try to extract it.
IF ANY OF THE METHODS DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU THEN TRY TO DOWNLOAD THE FIL AGAIN FROM THE SOURCE.
